C5 would like to invite you to an opportunity to freely express yourself through art in honor of Juneteenth!
In this workshop, we will be celebrating multiple Black American artists throughout history by learning a little about each artist’s work and their life experiences. Then, there will be a buffet of materials laid out for everyone to create a piece inspired by Juneteenth and in honor of the resilience and liberation of Black Americans.
This is an experience that is open to everyone! Join this workshop and express the joy of your own resilience through the lens of artists that overcame their own hurdles to show their talent. Come celebrate Juneteenth with us!
This workshop is for ages 9+
The workshop at C5 is donation based, $15, $25, or $35. If you are unable to make a donation at this time but would like to come along, please do. No-one will be turned away for lack of funds.
