Artist’s Studios
We believe that artists benefit from having an inspiring, dedicated space to work in, one which can be set up exactly how you want it to be to help you stay productive, inspired and comfortable.
At C5 Studios Community Arts Center we have 1500 square feet of floor space divided into studio spaces for use by local and visiting artists.
Studio spaces of a variety of sizes are available and all spaces will have access to a central break-out / co-working space, bathroom and small kitchenette, because we also believe that humans benefit from connecting with others and drinking tea.
Join our community and ignite your creative practice!
If you are interested in occupying one of these spaces, please fill in an interest form here
The Artists’ Studios at C5 Studios Community Arts Center have been supported generously by the Rotary Clubs of Bishop and the County of Inyo.

Vern Clevenger
Vern Clevenger is one of the Eastern Sierra's most established and well-known explorer, advocate, photographer and educator. Though his heart is in the Sierra Nevada, his photography and workshops range from Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite National Park, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park to Big Sur in the United States and the beautiful regions of Provence, France and Venice, Italy in Europe.
Vern used film cameras until 2010 for the initial exposure. These days he incorporates digital processes to produce constant improvement in his art prints, but he remains faithful, as well, to fundamental principles of classical photography. He now pursues his passion to explore the “Visionary Wilderness” using the incredible the Canon 5DS, the Sony A7R in the back-country and Adobe Lightroom image processing software. Vern considers himself to be a "fine print-maker" just as much as a "fine-art photgrapher".
Vern calls Mammoth Lakes home and has his gallery there. When he isn't at work on his photographs he is drawing on the inspirational beauty of the mountains to develop new course material for his workshops.
