Over the past twenty years, clothing production and consumption have doubled, yet consumers tend to keep their clothes only half as long. Another not-so fun fact - three out of five fast fashion garments end up in a landfill within a year of purchase.

Many of us are doing our part to stay away from “fast fashion” and mending what we already have can play a huge part in this process. In this workshop, you will learn to turn ripped denim fabric into pieces of wearable art, while keeping textiles out of the landfill.
