Sacred Rok is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support youth in nature, helping youth to learn to respect nature and through that, to respect themselves. This collaborative piece celebrates the identities and interests of the participating youth artists and the iconic highways that meet in Bishop, where they live. Inspired by graffiti and stencil artists, this youth group created hand-cut stencils and used spray paint to apply their artwork to the backdrop of the road sign replicas. The Lead Artists working with this group were Katie Lambert and Naomi Hart Johnson.
