Mandalas for Peace *Fundraiser for Ukraine 💙💛 *

A watercolor workshop with Ana Budnyk

Saturday April 30th, 2022 - 9.30am - 11am

We will explore the states of peace and creative flow while drawing beginner-friendly mandala-style watercolor drawings. In this class, we will draw inspiration from nature, the rich tradition of Ukrainian folk art and the art of Ukrainian painter Maria Prymachenko (above left). 

In this workshop, you will learn how to:

• Draw personalized mandala structures using rulers and a compass 

• Fill in mandala patterns using doodling techniques

• Use masking fluid for the outline and details

• Add color and improve your brush handling techniques

You will leave the class with new tools and easy therapeutic drawing exercises to doodle and draw at home!

💙💛 This session is a fundraiser! All proceeds will be donated to organizations providing medical and humanitarian aid for people affected by violence in Ukraine.

This class is for all levels, including people with no prior experience in watercolor. Ages 12+
