Oil Painting Foundation (Beginners and Intermediate level)

An Oil Painting Workshop with Krystina Maixner

This is a two-part workshop and registrants should plan to attend both sessions:

Wednesday July 13th, 2021 - 5.30 - 7.30pm and

Thursday July 14th, 2021 - 5.30 - 7.30pm (RESCHEDULED -NEW DATES)

Join artist Krystina Maixner for a two part workshop and learn the foundations of oil painting or build on your current skills. In our first class we will learn about and explore developing form using oil paint and understanding tonal value. In our second class we will add color and work on a more developed piece.

All materials and equipment needed are available for you to use. If you would like to use the materials provided you will be required to pay a materials fee of $10.

If you have your own oil paints, brushes and canvases/canvas paper you are encouraged to bring your own materials in order to develop your level of comfort with your own materials. If you bring your own materials you are not required to pay the materials fee.

This workshop is for ages 16+.
