Millefiori Bead Making
A bead making workshop with Andrea Kramer
Saturday, January 29th, 2021 - 10 AM to 1:30 PM - SOLD OUT!
In this unique workshop you will design and make original wearable art jewelry from handmade millefiori beads that you will create yourself. Millefiori means "thousand flowers" because these beads are often made with flowers and geometric designs.
Millefiori Trade Beads were originally made from glass in 19th century Venice for trade around the world, and were particularly used for barter in Africa and with Native Americans.
In this workshop you will learn techniques that were used centuries ago to create these exquisite beads from low fire clay.
Due to the specialist materials required for this workshop there is a materials fee of $12 per participant in addition to the registration fee that must be brought on the day of the workshop.
This workshop is for teens aged 13+ and adults. To avoid disappointment please register early, as we expect this class to sell out!
SORRY! This class is now SOLD OUT! There is another opportunity to participate in this class on 2/26/2022 - scroll down to find that class description and to register online.
