Latin Heritage Night: a Dance Social

After party/dance social at Mountain Rambler Brewery - 9pm - 11pm

Come learn basic salsa, bachata, and merengue dance steps at C5 Studios with May! Even if you're new to dancing, this session is meant for you to let loose and be in your body with no judgement, just pure fun! Not interested in a dance lesson or can't make it earlier? Just looking to dance? No problem! We'll follow the lesson with a dance party/social at the Mountain Rambler Brewery playing a mix by the awesome DJ Rod-A and we’ll dance the night away!

Please note: This is an affinity space that is 100% queer and trans-inclusive

This event is a fundraiser, with all proceeds donated to Rise Outside. Rise Outside is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to diversifying the outdoors.

Currently, Rise Outside is raising money for a Spring Foster Youth Trip to Bears Ears with the Utah Foster Care organization and the Rural Utah Project. They will join community members, elders and outdoor guides for 3 days of camping, hiking, foraging, cooking and connecting in Bluff and Bears Ears National Monument. This is a free trip for middle and high school students. Students will learn about traditional spring medicinal and edible plants, will spend time enjoying nature, cooking traditional foods and sleeping under the stars.

At the Brewery we’ll continue gathering donations and promoting the online scholarship auction with Flash Foxy. We will print two QR codes for people to scan so they can donate to the scholarship auction or the Foster Youth Trip.

The dance lesson at C5 is donation based, $5, $15, or $30. If you are unable to make a donation at this time but would like to come along, please do. No-one will be turned away for lack of funds.
