A Batik Workshop with Naomi Hart Johnson

Batik is a traditional wax-resist technique from Indonesia! It uses a special process of drawing or painting with wax onto paper or fabric and painting over with inks or paint. This fun workshop will use the Batik technique to create artwork depicting BUGS! Naomi will lead participants through a fun process of creating a layered artwork dedicated to those creepy crawly critters that we know so well!

This workshop is for kids aged 9+ and adults
