As we move from autumn into winter it is good to spend some time cleansing our energy bodies, awakening vitality in our spines and organ systems, and weaving ceremony and ritual into our daily lives. How can we move through our days finding more moments of calm, of balance, of gratitude, and of being present?
This two-hour workshop will give you some ideas, some threads, for weaving your own simple, daily rituals to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit. We will Awaken Vitality with movement, begin a foundation of deep emotional healing and balance with sounds from ancient Taoist texts, and immerse in a gratitude and intention despacho ritual from the Q’ero shaman of Peru.
All movements may be modified to work with any limitations you may have at the moment. Qigong is a powerful healing modality, even if you just imagine or visualize the movements, so if you need to sit or even lie down, you will still receive the benefit.
Because we are in the season of colds, flu, and yes, still Covid, masks will be required. We will take an outdoor break :)
No specialized attire or footwear is required. Please arrive in comfortable, non-restrictive clothing.
