Oaxacan Animal Sculptures

A Sculpture Workshop with Jael Hoffman

Thursday, July 1st, 2021 - 4pm - 5.30pm

Join us for a wonderful experience of creating in 3D with local artist Jael Hoffman, whose fabulous, colorful sculptures are often on display at C5 Studios.

In this workshop you will create a whimsical creature based on and inspired by Oaxacan wood carvings. You will construct your 'creature' using an armature (base) made from newspaper and tape. This basic structure will be covered with Paperclay and can be painted at the workshop or at home.

This workshop is for kids and adults - ages 12+

Registration in advance is required and registration will close at 5.30pm on Wednesday, June 30th 2021.
