A Sewing Workshop for Children with Lauren Newey

Saturday, June 12th, 2021 - 10.30am - 12.30pm at Millpond

Learning to sew gives children confidence in their own ability to create a more committed project. They are able to observe progress easily and walk away with a new skill set for mending and making!

This outdoor workshop will take place at the Millpond recreation area. The children will connect with their surroundings by creating small pillows in the shape of local flora and fauna. They will finish by harvesting sage from nearby plants to fill their creation.

This workshop is for children aged 5 - 8.

Scholarships for Kids: We are offering FREE scholarship places and discounts for children who would benefit from support to attend this workshop. Please reach out to us at contact@c5studios.org to find out more!

There is a class limit of 5 children.

Please note: Registration in advance is required, and registration for this class will close at 6pm on Friday, June 11th.

Online registration for classes requires that you use a Paypal account.

Once you choose your payment level and click “Register Now”, you will be required to complete a short registration form. You must then checkout by clicking on the Cart link in the top right corner of your screen.

Alternatively, you may contact us via email at contact@c5studios.org to reserve a place, including your phone number so that we can call you to take payment via card. You can also drop in to C5 Studios and reserve a place ahead of time, making a payment via card or check.

We can accept registration at the workshop itself only if workshop registration is not already at full capacity.
