LINE DANCING for all levels!
Line Dancing workshops with Olivia Pearl
Next series (all levels) starts Thursdays in April - 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11: 6pm - 7pm - registration is now open!
Join Olivia for a series of a line dance class for everybody - beginners, intermediate levels and everything in-between! All ages, all bodies, adults and kids are all invited to come and dance. In these line dance classes you will learn and review new basic country line dance songs that are commonly played all over the world. We will begin with the basics and learn a new dance every week. We will break down the steps of the dance and go at a speed that is comfortable with everybody.
The best part about line dance is you can take a basic dance and add whatever flare and sass you want to… or just keep it simple. I will be posting and sharing what dances we will cover for those who want extra homework or want to just get a head start on learning.
These classes are for adults and kids ages 7+.
You may sign up for all classes in the series, or just drop in for one! Joining us for all four classes will give you the best experience as each class begins with a review of the last class - but feel free to sign up for one as a taster!
To sign up for the full series of four sessions please enter 4 as the “quantity” when checking out.
About the instructor:
“Hi! My name is Olivia Gilpin and I moved to Bishop back in May 2022 from Seattle WA. I met my husband in Seattle and he grew up in Bishop. When I first visited Bishop I absolutely fell in love. The people, the outdoors, the sun and the country. The only thing I believe Bishop needs is some Line Dancing!
Back in Seattle I was apart of a line dance team called the Boot Boogie Babes for about 3 years. We taught line dance classes for both adult and children, opened for country artists, performed at the local fair and the solstice parade. I love to dance. It helps so much with my health both physically and mentally.”
