A watercolor workshop with Ana Budnyk

Wednesday November 9th, 2022 - 5.30pm - 7.30pm

Celebrate the end of fall with us and paint mushrooms. This workshop will share what we know about mushrooms, and we will learn techniques for  painting them with watercolor using photographs and memory. 

We will learn how to use our paint brushes to paint in layers using wet-on-wet techniques for the first layer and later tease out little details. We’ll learn how to color match to find our preferred hues and we’ll aim for everyone to create a mushroom composition that brings them joy.

This class is for all levels, including people with no prior experience in watercolor. Ages 12+

Workshop materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your brushes, paints, and paper to familiarize yourself with your own materials. 

*Each class is currently capped at 15 people, and we offer two free spots per class to people with financial needs. Please reach out to contact@c5studios.org to reserve your scholarship spot.
